Return / Refund Policy

Whimsical Appalachian gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered, or defective products purchased online, for a refund or store credit (Whimsical Appalachian E-Gift Card) within 30 days from the date you receive email notification that your item(s) have shipped. Items that arrive damaged or defective may be returned by contacting customer service within 3 days of delivery, by emailing boutique@whimsicalappalachian.com.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The following list of final sale items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded:

  • Swimwear
  • Items listed in the CLEARANCE category
  • Accessories
  • Dresses in the Cocktail, Semi-Formal & Formal category

Defective Items

If you receive a defective item, please contact customer service, by emailing boutique@whimsicalappalachian.com, within 3 days of delivery to inform us of the issue. If we are not notified within three days of receipt of the item, it will no longer qualify for a return or replacement. You must include a photo of the damage / defect with your email.

We are not responsible for damages to clothing caused by improper care or handling, or incorrect sizing.

The exact colors of merchandise may vary due to photography lenses, indoor/outdoor lighting, and computer or phone screen resolutions. Clothing patterns may also vary. These situations do not qualify as defects. Should the buyer attempt to return an item, in these situations, the amount of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

Returning Items

FREE return shipping for any number of items if you use the return label provided by the boutique.

You can place multiple return orders into one package to return. To ensure you receive the correct return credit amount, you MUST request a return authorization request for each order / item you are returning. You must include the return authorization slip and invoice for ALL items being returned.

Once we receive your return, and confirm it's condition, we will refund the purchase amount to your original payment method or via a Whimsical Appalachian E-Gift Card sent to the email address associated with your order.

Because we are a small business, we do ask for your patience, and allowing us up to two weeks to process your return. 

Exchanges

We are currently unable to process exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If your original purchase was discounted, please email us at boutique@whimsicalappalachian.com and we will see that you get the same price on your replacement item(s).
